Wipro has won a multi-year strategic transformation deal from Singapore-based Olam Group, with the total contract value expected to exceed $1.0 billion, the company said in a press release.

The eight-year engagement includes a committed spend of $800.0 million and will see Wipro deliver end-to-end transformation services using its consulting-led and AI-powered capabilities, the release mentioned.

As part of the deal, Wipro will also acquire Olam Group’s IT and digital services business, Mindsprint, which will become a wholly owned subsidiary after regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close by the end of April–June of 2026-2027.

Mindsprint employs more than 3,200 professionals, primarily based in India, and has been supporting Olam’s digital transformation initiatives. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Wipro’s domain expertise in the food and agri-business sector.

The engagement will focus on transforming Olam’s ‘farm-to-fork’ operations, covering areas such as farming, supply chain, trading, forecasting and customer engagement. The aim is to improve operational efficiency and support long-term growth.

Wipro said the deal will also expand the deployment of its AI-led platforms and solutions across Olam’s business, while enhancing its presence in the global food and agri-business segment.
