Maruti Suzuki February 2026 Sales Rise 7.3% on Year to 213,995 Units; Exports Surge

Maruti Suzuki India reported total sales of 213,995 units for February, a 7.3% increase from 199,400 units in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing to exchanges.  The company’s total sales volume included domestic sales of 164,130 units, sales to other OEMs of 10,710 units, and exports of 39,155 units.

The total domestic sales, encompassing PV, LCV, and OEM supply, stood at 174,840 units compared to 174,379 units in February 2025. Domestic passenger vehicle sales were 161,000 units, marginally higher than 160,791 units in the previous year.
Segment-wise, the ‘Mini’ category, comprising the Alto and S-Presso, recorded sales of 10,238 units, compared to 10,226 units in February 2025.

The ‘Compact’ segment, which includes the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR, saw sales decline to 66,386 units from 72,942 units. The combined Micro and Compact segment sales fell to 76,624 units from 83,168 units. The ‘Mid-Size’ segment, represented by the Ciaz, reported nil sales for the month compared to 1,097 units a year ago. Consequently, total ‘Category A: Passenger Cars’ sales stood at 76,624 units against 84,265 units.

The ‘Utility Vehicles’ segment recorded sales of 72,756 units, up from 65,033 units in February 2025. This category includes the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris, and XL6. In the ‘Vans’ segment, sales of the Eeco stood at 11,620 units versus 11,493 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.

The Light Commercial Vehicle segment, consisting of the Super Carry, registered sales of 3,130 units, up from 2,710 units in February 2025. Sales to other OEMs declined to 10,710 units from 10,878 units in the year-ago period.
Exports rose to 39,155 units in February from 25,021 units in February 2025.
