IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers Resigns; Co-Founder Rahul Bhatia Assumes Interim Leadership

InterGlobe Aviation Limited, the parent company of IndiGo, announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Pieter Elbers, in a corporate disclosure. Elbers will step down from his role and be relieved of his duties at the close of business on March 10.

The filing stated that the reason for the change is resignation.

Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director of InterGlobe Aviation, will assume interim charge of the airline’s operations and oversee the company’s affairs until a new chief executive is appointed, the company said in its filing.
