Bajaj Auto Total Sales Rise 27% on Year to 448,259 Units in February

Bajaj Auto Limited reported total sales of 448,259 units in February, a 27% on year increase from 352,071, according to a regulatory filing. 

Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 186,164 units, a 27% rise from 146,138 units in the corresponding month of the previous year. Exports of two-wheelers increased 26% to 193,757 units against 153,280 units in February 2025. Two-wheeler sales totaled 379,921 units, marking 27% growth from 299,418 units.

Domestic commercial vehicle sales rose 25% to 46,417 units from 37,277 units. Commercial vehicle exports increased 43% to 21,921 units compared to 15,376 units a year earlier. Total commercial vehicle volume was 68,338 units, a 30% increase from 52,653 units recorded in February 2025.


Total domestic sales (two-wheelers plus CVs) reached 232,581 units, up 27% from 183,415 units. Total exports grew 28% to 215,678 units, compared to 168,656 units in the same month last year.

For the year-to-date period of April–February 2026, cumulative domestic two-wheeler sales remained flat at 2,128,019 units versus 2,124,590 units in the prior comparable period. YTD exports for two-wheelers grew 17% to 1,808,358 units from 1,541,987 units. Total YTD two-wheeler volume stood at 3,936,377 units, a 7% increase from 3,666,577 units.

YTD domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 7% to 473,175 units from 441,621 units. Exports of commercial vehicles rose 52% to 262,738 units against 172,945 units. The sub-total for YTD commercial vehicle sales was 735,913 units, up 20% from 614,566 units.

Overall YTD domestic sales reached 2,601,194 units, reflecting a 1% rise from 2,566,211 units. Total YTD exports increased 21% to 2,071,096 units compared to 1,714,932 units. The grand total for April–February stood at 4,672,290 units, a 9% growth over the 4,281,143 units recorded in the previous year.
