UPL’s Advanta Seeds Acquires Corn Assets From K-Adriatica

UPL Ltd. on Monday said its subsidiary Advanta Seeds has acquired key corn assets from Italian firm K-Adriatica, strengthening its presence in the European market.

The deal includes temperate corn breeding germplasm, a pipeline of hybrids, and a diverse corn product portfolio, UPL said in an exchange filing.

Advanta Seeds said the acquisition will help it expand its crop offering and provide better-adapted solutions to European farmers. K-Adriatica has over 50 years of experience in supplying high-quality agricultural products across Europe.
