Uno Minda To Invest ₹2.10 Billion In Casting Plant For EVs In Aurangabad

Uno Minda Ltd.'s board on Thursday approved a capital expenditure plan of ₹2.10 billion to set up a casting manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, the company said in a filing.

The new plant will cater to rising demand for casting components in electric vehicles. Uno Minda plans to develop the facility in phases, with a total annual capacity of 3,629 tonnes. The first phase is expected to be commissioned in July–September of 2026–27.

The investment will be funded through internal accruals and some term loans, the company said.
