Sun Pharma Free To Launch LEQSELVI In US As Court Lifts Injunction

Sun Pharmaceutical on Thursday said it is no longer bound by a court order restricting the launch of LEQSELVI in the US, after the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled in its favour and vacated the preliminary injunction, the company said in an exchange filing.

LEQSELVI is used to treat an autoimmune disorder that causes patchy hair loss, as per a report by rediff.com.

While legal proceedings with Incyte Corp. are still ongoing, the injunction that had delayed or restricted the launch is no longer in effect. Sun Pharma said it will announce its US launch plans for LEQSELVI in due course.

Shares of Sun Pharma ended at ₹1,688 up 2% from the previous close.
