Reliance Brands to Launch Italian Fashion Label MAX&Co. in India

Reliance Industries Ltd.’s step-down arm Reliance Brands Ltd. has entered into a long-term partnership with Italian fashion label MAX&Co., part of the Max Mara Fashion Group, to bring the brand to India.

The first MAX&Co. store is expected to open in Mumbai by early 2026, followed by a national rollout across major metropolitan cities, the company said in a release.

Founded in 1986, MAX&Co. is known for its contemporary ready-to-wear collections and modern Italian design.
Established in 2007, Reliance Brands Ltd. is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd., the retail arm of the Reliance conglomerate.

The company currently operates over 1,590 stores across India, representing several global fashion and lifestyle brands.
