RailTel Gets LoI For ₹2.74 Billion Traffic Management Project In Maharashtra

RailTel Corp. of India Ltd. said it has received a letter of intent from the Motor Vehicles Department, Maharashtra for an intelligent traffic management system project in the Vidarbha circle, according to an exchange filing.

The estimated value of the order is ₹2.74 billion, based on the request for proposal, though the final amount will be confirmed once the purchase order is issued.

The project involves designing, implementing, operating and maintaining the system at blackspots or vulnerable locations for a period of 10 years, and is expected to be completed by September 4, 2036, the company said.
