M&M Reports Best Passenger Vehicle Sales In Seven Months

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. posted a 21% year-on-year rise in May domestic passenger vehicle sales to 52,431 units, its highest in seven months, beating forecasts.

Total sales, including commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, and exports, rose 17% to 84,110 units.

Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 8% to 21,392 units, driven by a 14% rise in 2.0–3.5 tonne vehicles. Three-wheeler sales grew 11% to 6,635 units.

Exports rose 37% to 3,652 units, though growth was the slowest this year. Domestic tractor sales rose 10% to 38,914 units, while tractor exports fell 8% to 1,729 units.
