L&T Bags Large Orders from Hindalco, Tata Steel

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. on Friday said its minerals and metals business has secured multiple large orders, including one from Hindalco Industries Ltd. to set up an aluminium smelter for its upcoming project in Odisha.

The company classifies orders worth ₹25 billion–₹50 billion as large.

L&T also received an order from Tata Steel Ltd. to build a coke oven battery. The scope of work covers engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and plant installation. Other orders include stacker reclaimers, wagon tipplers, crushers, and surface miners.
