Jindal Stainless CEO Tarun Khulbe Given Additional Charge Of CFO

Jindal Stainless Ltd. on Wednesday said its board has appointed Chief Executive Officer Tarun Kumar Khulbe as the company’s Chief Financial Officer as well, effective immediately. Khulbe, who joined the company in 2004, was named CEO in January 2024 after serving as Whole-Time Director since 2018.

In another update, the board approved a proposal to convert PT Glory Metal Indonesia — a joint venture company — into a step-down subsidiary by the September quarter. Jindal Stainless holds a 49% stake in PT Glory Metal through its wholly owned subsidiary.

PT Glory Metal Indonesia was incorporated on May 16, 2024, and is engaged in investing, developing, constructing and operating a stainless steel melt shop in Indonesia with a planned annual capacity of 1.2 million tonnes, the company said.
