IRCON International Ltd. on Friday said its joint venture IRCON-JPWIPL has bagged a ₹7.56-billion contract from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. for a railway infrastructure project in Madhya Pradesh. IRCON’s share in the project is ₹5.29 billion, the company said in an exchange filing.
The contract includes civil and electrical works for a new broad gauge line between Pipaliya Nankar and Budni stations in the Bhopal division. The project is expected to be completed in 36 months, with an additional six-month defect liability period.
