IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. on Tuesday said it, along with its private infrastructure investment trust, IRB Infrastructure Trust, clocked aggregate toll revenue of ₹5.57 billion in March, up nearly 16% on year.
For 2024-25, toll revenue rose around 23% on year to ₹63.60 billion, beating the national toll growth of 12.5%, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company expects the strong growth to continue in 2025-26, driven by the Union Budget’s push for tourism, transport and consumption-focused sectors, and also by upcoming toll tariff hikes, said Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Murarka.
Its Mumbai-Pune Expressway operator, IRB MP Expressway Pvt. Ltd., brought in the highest toll in March at ₹1.54 billion, up 3.6% on year. Another arm, IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway Pvt. Ltd., collected ₹655 million, up 4.3%. The remaining ₹3.38 billion came from tolls collected by its joint ventures.
