IOB April-June Profit Up 76% To ₹11.11 Billion; Gets ₹11.46 Billion Tax Refund

Indian Overseas Bank has received a refund order of ₹11.46 billion from the Income Tax Department, the bank said in an exchange filing on Saturday. 

On Friday, the lender reported a 75.6% on-year jump in net profit to ₹11.11 billion for the April-June quarter, supported by a sharp rise in other income.
