Infosys Tax Proceedings Over ₹324 Billion Closed By GST Intelligence

Infosys Ltd. said the Director General of GST Intelligence has closed proceedings related to a ₹324 billion tax notice covering 2018-19 to 2021-22. The company had received a pre-show cause notice last year from Karnataka authorities over alleged tax non-payment, but it was withdrawn soon after, Infosys said late Friday.

Authorities had already closed proceedings against Infosys for the tax notice concerning 2017-18.
