Housing and Urban Development Corp. Ltd. on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to support infrastructure development in the region, the company said in an exchange filing.
Under the agreement, HUDCO will explore and extend funding of up to ₹1.5 trillion over the next five years for MMRDA’s projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. It will also provide consultancy services and capacity-building support to help meet the authority’s infrastructure requirements.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kulshrestha.
