HEG Ltd. on Tuesday said its wholly owned subsidiary, TACC Ltd., has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Council for Cement and Building Materials to develop sustainable, durable, and high-performance concrete using graphene-based additives.

The collaboration aims to integrate graphene’s superior strength, conductivity, and lightweight properties into concrete, enhancing its durability and performance while helping reduce carbon emissions. This aligns with India's climate and net-zero targets, the company said in an exchange filing.

TACC, part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, specialises in advanced materials including synthetic graphite and graphene derivatives. The National Council for Cement and Building Materials operates under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and supports technology development and services in the cement and construction sectors.
