HCL Tech To Modernise UK’s Taylor Wimpey’s IT Systems In Multi-Year Deal

HCL Technologies Ltd. on Thursday said it has partnered with UK-based residential developer Taylor Wimpey PLC to provide end-to-end IT services.

As part of the multi-year collaboration, HCL Tech will deliver services including data, AI capabilities, application and infrastructure management, network services, cybersecurity, and workplace solutions to help modernise Taylor Wimpey’s IT landscape, the Indian company said in a filing.

HCL Tech will also set up a dedicated innovation lab for the developer to incubate new technology solutions and support its digital transformation agenda.

The IT major will automate infrastructure and end-user services, while Taylor Wimpey will tap into HCLTech’s generative AI tools, including HCLTech AI Force, to speed up software development, enhance productivity, and improve user experience.

“We aim to become the UK’s leading digital house builder... HCLTech is a critical partner in realising this vision,” said Andy Feldon, IT director at Taylor Wimpey.
