GMDC Net Profit Up 21% In March Quarter; Recommends ₹10.10 Dividend

Gujarat Mineral Development Corp. Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for the March quarter rose nearly 21% on year to ₹2.26 billion, supported by higher revenue and other income. Revenue from operations rose 4.9% to ₹7.86 billion.

Sequentially, profit jumped over 53% and revenue climbed more than 20%.

Other income for the quarter surged to ₹1.18 billion from ₹717.7 million a year ago.

Total expenditure for the quarter, including finance costs, stood at ₹6.19 billion, up from ₹5.85 billion a year earlier. Finance costs plunged 93% on year to just ₹900,000. The company's tax outgo rose to ₹588.6 million from ₹502.7 million a year ago.

For 2024–25,GMDC's net profit rose nearly 15% to ₹6.86 billion, while revenue from operations grew 16% to ₹28.51 billion.
The board has recommended a dividend of ₹10.10 per share.
