Eicher Motors Commercial Vehicle Sales Growth Slows To 7% In May

Eicher Motors Ltd. reported a 7% year-on-year rise in May commercial vehicle sales to 7,402 units, its weakest growth in five months. April had seen growth of over 27%.

Domestic sales of light and medium trucks rose 15% to 3,236 units, and light and medium buses increased 10% to 1,882 units.

Heavy-duty truck sales declined 8% to 1,502 units, and heavy-duty bus sales fell 3% to 138 units. Exports rose 21% to 501 units, but the pace was slower than in recent months.
