Cummins India Launches Battery Energy Storage Systems For Domestic Market

Cummins India Ltd. on Thursday announced the launch of its battery energy storage systems for the Indian market, according to a filing with the exchanges.

The systems are designed to support the energy transition in sectors such as manufacturing, data centres, commercial real estate, and mining, which are increasingly shifting from conventional energy sources to renewables. Powered by lithium ferro-phosphate batteries, the systems offer energy outputs ranging from 200 kilowatt-hours to 2 megawatt-hours, the company said.
