CESC Arm Signs Deal With Envision Energy For 1 GW Wind Project

CESC Ltd said its subsidiary Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd has signed a framework agreement with Envision Energy India Pvt. Ltd for the supply and commissioning of 1 gigawatt of wind turbine generators.

Under the agreement, Envision Energy will also operate and maintain the generators for 10 years post-installation, the company said in an exchange filing.

The timeline for supply and commissioning will be finalised later, and CESC clarified that this is not a related party transaction.
