BEML Signs Quadripartite Pact for Real-Time Cargo Evacuation Pilot at Machilipatnam Port

BEML Ltd. on Friday said it has signed a quadripartite memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board, Delhi Metro Rail Corp. and Umeandus Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.

The alliance will work on developing a real-time automatic cargo evacuation system (e-FTS, or enhanced freight transport system) for Machilipatnam Port, BEML said in an exchange filing.

Under the partnership, Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board is the client, Delhi Metro Rail is the lead member, while BEML and Umeandus Technologies will act as execution partners for the pilot project.
