Astral Arm Al-Aziz Plastics Secures Patent for Multiport Water Outlet

Astral’s wholly owned subsidiary, Al-Aziz Plastics, has received a patent from the Government of India for its invention titled “Multiport Water Outlet,” the company said in a release.

The patent has been granted for a period of 20 years starting November 2021, in line with the Patents Act, 1970, the release added.

Through the solution, the company aims to enable multiple household connections through a single tapping point, offering flexible outlet configurations with uniform water distribution, with an option of an inbuilt flow-control valve.

It added that the product is compatible with standard fittings and is designed to handle structural loads while enabling faster installation and reduced excavation. The lightweight and cost-efficient design is expected to extend pipeline life and reduce project timelines.
