Afcons Gets Environmental Clearance For Raghavpur Multipurpose Project

Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. on Friday said it has received environmental clearance from the Madhya Pradesh State Environment Impact Assessment Authority for the Raghavpur Multipurpose Project in Dindori.

The project, awarded by the Narmada Valley Development Authority, includes the construction of a dam and a 25 MW powerhouse on the Narmada river. It also features a piped irrigation system designed to deliver water through a pressurised pipeline network for micro-irrigation across 17,587 hectares of farmland.
