Adani Green Energy’s operational capacity jumped 30% on year to 14.2 gigawatts in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. According to the company's investor presentation, it plans to expand its capacity further by an additional 1 gigawatts, taking the total to 15.2 gigawatts.
The company in its updates attributed the growth of its operational capacity primarily to the addition of 3,309 megawatts from greenfield projects, which includes the successful commissioning 2,710 megawatts of solar power across several key states, as per a report by Business Today.
The sale of energy during the 12 months ended March 31 rose 28% on year to 27.97 billion units.
In 2024-2025, Adani Green Energy’s solar portfolio achieved a capacity utilisation factor of 24.8%, supported by 99.5% plant availability. The capacity utilisation factor in Khavda, Gujarat, stood at 32.4%, close to its stabilised operation level.
The wind portfolio recorded a utilisation factor of 27.2%, while the hybrid portfolio touched 39.5%, as per the data.
