India and the UK today signed the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement in London. The agreement is expected to take effect within 6 to 12 months and covers 26 areas, including tariffs, services, digital trade, intellectual property, and procurement.India and the UK have agreed to sweeping tariff concessions that could reshape their $23 billion goods trade.
