Vodafone Idea Names Abhijit Kishore as CEO for 3-Year Term

Vodafone Idea Ltd has appointed Chief Operating Officer Abhijit Kishore as its chief executive officer and key managerial personnel for three years, effective August 19.

He succeeds Akshaya Moondra, whose term ends on August 18 after being appointed in August 2022.

Kishore, associated with the company since March 2015, has held multiple leadership roles, including chief enterprise business officer and circle business head for Gujarat and Kerala, where he oversaw the launch of India’s first 4G service.
