US FDA Issues OAI Status For Cipla’s Pithampur Plant

Cipla Ltd. on Tuesday said the US Food and Drug Administration has classified its Pithampur facility in Madhya Pradesh under Official Action Indicated status.

The regulator had earlier issued inspectional observations for the site. An OAI status typically signals that regulatory or enforcement action may be taken, depending on the final review.
