TVS Motor Posts 17% Growth In May Wholesale Volumes

TVS Motor Co. Ltd. reported a 17% year-on-year increase in May wholesale volumes to 431,275 units, with domestic two-wheeler sales rising 16% to 416,166 units.

Motorcycle sales rose 22% to 211,505 units, scooter sales grew 15% to 166,749 units, and three-wheeler volumes jumped 46% to 15,109 units.

Electric vehicle sales surged 50% year-on-year to 27,976 units, while exports climbed 22% to 118,437 units, including 106,879 two-wheelers.

The company warned of short-term EV supply chain disruptions, particularly due to magnet shortages.
