Tejas Networks Partners With Rakuten Symphony For Integrated Open RAN Solutions

Tejas Networks Ltd. on Wednesday said it has partnered with Rakuten Symphony to co-develop integrated Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) solutions and jointly pursue market opportunities in India and globally.

Under the collaboration, Rakuten Symphony’s centralised and distributed unit software, OSS, and cloud portfolio will be integrated with Tejas Networks’ 4G and 5G radio platforms, the company said in an exchange filing.

The two companies will work together to explore deployments and expansions of 4G and 5G networks worldwide, including within India.
