TCS Wins Kesko IT Deal in Nordic, Baltic Regions

Tata Consultancy Services on Wednesday said it has been chosen by Kesko, a leading Finnish retail group, as its strategic IT partner to transform its core technology landscape across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

The multi-year agreement will modernise operations, improve agility, and support Kesko’s growth in grocery, automotive, building, and technical trades across several countries, TCS said.

TCS will provide AI-enabled application-managed services across Kesko’s SAP and non-SAP systems, using machine learning and automation to improve application health, resolve incidents proactively, and deliver cost savings.

The partnership aims to help Kesko roll out next-generation digital services, improve efficiency, shorten time-to-market, and enhance customer experience across operations in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Subhadipta Samantray, country head for TCS Finland, said the collaboration highlights how advanced technology can help retailers remain competitive in a fast-changing market.
