Suven Pharmaceuticals Renamed As Cohance Lifesciences

Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has officially changed its name to Cohance Lifesciences Ltd., effective Wednesday, following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the company said in an exchange filing.

The revised name has been updated in the company’s memorandum of association. An application will be sent to BSE and the National Stock Exchange to reflect the new name on the bourses soon, it said.

The change comes after the government approved Suven’s merger with Cohance Lifesciences in April.

"The Cohance name captures the organisation’s commitment to collaborate with global innovators to enhance their molecules and products to deliver transformative solutions to patients and consumers worldwide," the company said.
