Sebi Grants Registration To Jio BlackRock As Investment Adviser

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has granted Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Pvt. Ltd. a certificate of registration to operate as an investment adviser, Jio Financial Services Ltd. said in an exchange filing on Wednesday.

The registration was granted via a letter dated June 10.

In April 2024, Jio Financial Services had signed a joint venture agreement with BlackRock Advisors Singapore Pvt. Ltd., with each partner holding a 50% stake, to enter the wealth management and broking business.
