Mastek April-June Net Profit Up 13.5% Sequentially; Revenue Rises 1%

Mastek Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for the June quarter rose 13.5% on quarter to ₹920.5 million, driven by higher other income. The bottom line was also up 28.7% on year.

Revenue from operations grew 1.0% sequentially to ₹9.15 billion, and 12.5% on year. Other income jumped to ₹105.6 million from ₹35.8 million in the previous quarter.

Total expenditure, including finance costs, rose marginally to ₹8.05 billion from ₹7.95 billion a quarter ago. Finance costs eased to ₹87.6 million from ₹96.2 million. The company's tax outgo rose to ₹286.5 million from ₹248.5 million in the previous quarter.
