M&M’s June SUV sales Up 18%, Farm Equipment Surges; CVs Steady, Exports Weak

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported an 18% year-on-year increase in domestic SUV despatches to 47,306 units in June. In the April–June quarter, utility vehicle sales rose 22% to 152,067 units.

CV sales remained flat at 20,575 units, with LCVs below 2 tonnes falling 20% and those in the 2.0–3.5 tonne range up 4%. Three-wheeler sales rose 37% to 8,454 units.

Exports in June were subdued at 2,634 units, up just 1% on year. Farm equipment sales grew 13% to 53,392 units, supported by favourable monsoon trends. April–June tractor sales increased 10% to 134,089 units.
