Karur Vysya Bank Business Grows 15% In June Quarter; Advances At ₹893.70 Billion

Karur Vysya Bank on Tuesday said its total business rose over 15% on year to ₹1.96 trillion as of Jun. 30, based on provisional data.

Gross advances stood at ₹893.70 billion, up 15% from a year ago. Total deposits grew more than 15% to ₹1.07 trillion, while current and savings account (CASA) deposits rose 4.5% to ₹293.06 billion.

In the March quarter, the Tamil Nadu-based lender reported a 13% rise in net profit to ₹5.13 billion, helped by a sharp decline in provisions.
