Jupiter Wagons Resumes Full Operations At Jabalpur Plant After Labour Unrest

Jupiter Wagons Ltd. on Wednesday said it has fully resumed operations at its Jabalpur unit in Madhya Pradesh. All production activities are now underway, and the facility is running at full capacity, the company said in an exchange filing.

The management expects production and dispatches to continue without disruption. During the downtime, the company completed essential repairs, maintenance, and preparatory work to ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely.

The company is confident of mitigating any financial or operational impact within the current financial year.
On April 22, Jupiter Wagons had announced that production at one of its Jabalpur units had been suspended for 15–20 days due to "unavoidable circumstances". A day later, it confirmed that labour unrest, which began on April 5, was the reason behind the shutdown. The company had been in talks with trade unions to resolve the issue.
