JB Chemicals Gets USFDA Nod For Antidepressant Tablets

J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. on Tuesday said it has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its abbreviated new drug application for Amitriptyline Hydrochloride tablets in multiple strengths—10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg.

The product is indicated for the relief of symptoms of depression, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
