This week's India AI Summit in the national capital saw an impressive congregation of global leaders, tech CEOs, policymakers and AI researchers and scientists from across the world. The idea of the summit was to showcase India as a future hub for scalable, low cost solutions that can help democratise AI and make it inclusive, benefitting citizens across society. It was also to be billed as a major win for India in tech diplomacy. In this episode, corporate advisor and author Srinath Sridharan joins me to dig beyond all of that to uncover the hard truths about global AI politics, domestic ambitions, systemic gaps, and emerging tensions.
