  • Madras High Court allows Airport authority of India to float tender to replace Celebi as ground handling operator in Chennai airport for now. The government told the court that it has no choice but to float a tender since the airport is operated by the government and not a private body. The court recorded that the government or the next appointed operator will not use Celebi’s equipment and the appointment will be subject to the outcome of the litigation.
