Escorts Kubota Ltd. reported a 2.2% year-on-year rise in total sales to 11,498 units in June, driven by robust exports, timely monsoon arrival, improved kharif sowing, and higher minimum support prices.

Domestic tractor sales remained nearly flat at 10,997 units, down just 0.1% YoY, while exports surged 114.1% to 501 units. Cumulative sales for April–June reached 30,581 units, only marginally higher than the year-ago period.

The company expects demand to improve over the remainder of the year on the back of a normal monsoon, better reservoir levels, and enhanced rural liquidity.

However, construction equipment sales fell 27.2% YoY to 334 units, hit by seasonal monsoon impact, project delays, and rising costs due to updated emission norms. Escorts anticipates a recovery in this segment after the monsoon, aided by government-led capital expenditure.
