Engineers India Inks Pact with NPCIL to Design Bharat Small Modular Reactor

Engineers India Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding with state-owned Nuclear Power Corp. of India Ltd. to design and develop the Bharat small modular reactor.

The reactor, based on pressurised water reactor technology, has been developed by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and NPCIL. The company did not disclose the contract size or execution timeline.
