Crompton Bags ₹1 Billion Solar Pump Order From Maharashtra Agency

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has secured an order worth ₹1.01 billion from the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, the company said in an exchange filing on Thursday.

Under the order, Crompton will design, manufacture, supply, transport, install, test, and commission 4,500 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across Maharashtra.

The project falls under Component-B of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s PM-KUSUM scheme. The company expects to complete the work within 90 days.
