Cipla on Monday said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 20% stake in Bengaluru-based diagnostic device maker iCaltech Innovations for around ₹50 million.
The pharma major will acquire 150,820 optionally convertible preference shares of face value ₹10 each in the company, it said in an exchange filing.
iCaltech specialises in diagnostic medical equipment with a focus on respiratory care. Cipla said the deal will help strengthen its partnership with the firm and support the development of integrated healthcare solutions combining pharma and advanced device technologies.
The medical device company posted a turnover of ₹67 million in 2024-25.
