Axis Max Life Probes Possible Data Breach After Anonymous Tip-Off

Axis Max Life Insurance has launched an investigation into a potential breach of customer data after receiving a message from an anonymous source claiming unauthorised access, parent company Max Financial Services Ltd. said in an exchange filing Wednesday.
As an immediate response, Axis Max Life began an information security assessment and data log analysis.

A detailed investigation is now underway in consultation with cybersecurity experts to determine the root cause and initiate corrective action, the company said.
