Angel One Reports 48% Decline in March Quarter Net Profit

Angel One reported a 48% on year decline in its net profit for the March quarter, which stood at ₹1.8 billion. Revenue from operations for the quarter fell 23.4% to ₹10.31 billion. On a sequential basis, net profit declined 40.1%, while revenue dropped 17.2%.

The company’s other income rose to ₹20.89 million, up from ₹16.13 million in the same period last year.

Total expenditure, including finance costs, for the January-March quarter was ₹7.9 billion, compared with ₹8.85 billion a year ago. Finance costs rose to ₹784.96 million from ₹564.07 million in the previous year.

Tax outgo for the March quarter was ₹628.88 million, compared with ₹1.17 billion a year ago.

For the financial year 2024-25, the company’s net profit rose 7.3% to ₹12.16 billion, while revenue surged 21.8% to ₹51.72 billion. The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹26 per share.
