Alkem to Invest ₹5.3 Billion in New Ujjain Manufacturing Facility

Alkem Laboratories Ltd has received the board’s approval to invest ₹5.3 Billion in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to set up a greenfield formulations manufacturing facility, the company said in a press release

The company said the land, measuring about 30 acres, has been allotted by DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Ltd in the industrial area at Ujjain and the investment will be undertaken in a phased manner.

The facility will be used for manufacturing formulations as part of the company’s expansion plans.
